Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Shape and influence the data management strategy, focusing primarily on data architecture to drive impactful business outcomes.

• Data Product Transformation: Implement best practices from Data Mesh and Data Lake methodologies to convert extensive Databricks tables into reusable data products, ensuring ownership, thorough documentation, and adherence to high-quality standards.

• Value Creation: Prioritise value creation through data assets, with a strong emphasis on user satisfaction.

• Team Leadership: Build and lead a team of data engineers, fostering collaboration with stakeholders from Data Governance, Data Production, and the Platform Team.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data analytics, engineering, and/or architecture, with a strong background in data discovery and data engineering.

• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in at least one programming language such as SQL, PySpark, or Scala Spark. Proficiency in AWS Cloud and the Databricks platform is essential.

• Best Practices Knowledge: Familiarity with industry best practices for managing data in large organisations (e.g., DAMA, TOGAF).

• Collaboration Tools: Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.

• Execution Skills: Demonstrated bias toward action, a self-driven attitude, and strong execution skills.

• Collaboration and Proactivity: Strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to implementing and continuously improving systems.

Key Responsibilities

•  Lead the development and optimisation of data operations for multiple data pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of raw data from diverse sources.

• Establish first-level support to monitor and manage the performance of automated data workflows, collaborating with Data Engineers to resolve pipeline-related issues.

• Improve the accessibility and reusability of data by co-developing robust data quality frameworks with Data Engineers.

• Continuously refine operational processes, including the implementation of change management protocols for existing data pipelines.

• Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Governance, Data Producers, and the Platform Team to ensure seamless data operations and integration.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in data discovery and data operations, with a thorough understanding of best practices for managing data in large organisations (e.g., DAMA, ITIL).

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS Cloud and the Databricks platform, along with experience using operational tools such as quality frameworks, reporting tools, JIRA, and Confluence.

• Proactive and Action-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, with a self-driven attitude and strong execution skills.

• Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills with a proactive approach to implementing and continuously improving systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement technical regulations and standards pertaining to Masses & Dimensions, Maneuverability, Sound Level, and AVAS for commercial vehicles.

• Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure products meet all relevant regulations.

• Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate these updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Manage relationships with Technical Services and Type Approval Authorities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

• Organize and oversee all activities required to obtain type approval, including conducting tests and preparing homologation documentation and test reports.

• Coordinate with various departments to ensure a comprehensive understanding of technical regulations across the company.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of proven experience in commercial vehicle homologation, with a specific focus on regulations regarding Masses & Dimensions, Maneuverability, Sound Level, and AVAS.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.

• Fluency in English and German

• Proven experience as an SAP CO Consultant, with a strong focus on project execution.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.

• Hands-on experience with S/4 Hana projects.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Atlease one full life cycle 

• Proficiency in English.

Actively collaborate with business teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective SAP CO solutions.

This role is open to both Permenant and contractual candidates

• Level 1 support - receive incidents from multiple communication channels ( ITSM tools  phone calls ) 

• Level 1.5 support - monitor various dashboards of the platform  

• Validate issues using specific tools and raise incidents in the ITSM 

• Alert Incident Management team on duty regarding any P1/P2 Incidents  received from 3rd parties or identified internally 

• Ensure communication with 3rd parties based on specific requirements and protocols ( posting INCs on ITSM tools  on the phone during the night ). 

• Catch and dispatch incidents - initial filter for the quality of incidents received ( mandatory fields are properly filled in ) 

• 4 Month Contract + possible extension to 2025
