Key Responsibilities 

• Algorithm Design: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to understand sustainability challenges and devise efficient algorithms to address them effectively. 

• Environment Setup: Establish and maintain development environments utilizing programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python, along with relevant libraries. 

• Implementation: Code and implement algorithms, adhering to best practices for efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.

•  Optimization: Evaluate algorithm performance and optimize them to meet speed and memory requirements while ensuring sustainability goals are met. 

• Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of algorithms. 

• Documentation: Document the algorithm design, implementation, and validation processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future enhancements.

• Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in algorithm development and explore innovative methodologies to solve sustainability challenges.

Requirements 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. 

• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. 

• Proficiency in programming languages like C++, Java, or Python. 

• Familiarity with relevant libraries and frameworks for algorithm development. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking abilities.

• Preferred Qualifications 

• Previous experience in algorithm development or related fields. Knowledge of parallel and distributed algorithms. 

• Understanding of big data processing and optimization techniques in the context of sustainable energy. 

• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques tailored for sustainable energy applications.

• Languages: Fluency in Spanish & English (Bonus German)
