Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and optimisation of data operations for multiple data pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of raw data from diverse sources.
Establish first-level support to monitor and manage the performance of automated data workflows, collaborating with Data Engineers to resolve pipeline-related issues.
Improve the accessibility and reusability of data by co-developing robust data quality frameworks with Data Engineers.
Continuously refine operational processes, including the implementation of change management protocols for existing data pipelines.
Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Governance, Data Producers, and the Platform Team to ensure seamless data operations and integration.
Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in data discovery and data operations, with a thorough understanding of best practices for managing data in large organisations (e.g., DAMA, ITIL).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS Cloud and the Databricks platform, along with experience using operational tools such as quality frameworks, reporting tools, JIRA, and Confluence.
Proactive and Action-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, with a self-driven attitude and strong execution skills.
Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills with a proactive approach to implementing and continuously improving systems.
