Requirements
Actively engage in trading power and interconnector capacities within short-term markets, including day-ahead, intra-day, and balancing sectors.
Employ automated trading platforms to swiftly react to market fluctuations where applicable.
Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, regulatory shifts, grid reliability, interconnector flows, and economic factors influencing power and capacity markets across borders.
Apply risk management techniques to reduce financial risks associated with power and capacity trades. Continuously track positions in relation to market developments and regulatory standards.
Handle bids and offers for interconnector capacities, with a deep understanding of cross-border energy flows and their effect on power pricing.
Collaborate with other desks, functions, and system operators to harmonize strategies and manage portfolio risks. Participate in industry forums to stay informed about market developments.
Generate comprehensive reports on trading activities, performance indicators, and market conditions. Communicate insights and strategies to internal stakeholders.
